How we made this list. We started with OpenStreetMap records inside Fort Myers’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, and added places from the state’s food license and restaurant inspection records. We checked each place against its own website on Oct. 9, 2026. Where a chain’s location page would not load for us, the table says so; those locations hold current state licenses. Places with a Fort Myers mailing address outside the city limits are not here. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to add or correct your entry.
