  • Lee County government offices: closed Monday, May 31, 2027, under the county’s holiday schedule.

Pools and the start of summer

  • Fort Myers Aquatic Center, 1750 Matthew Drive, at the Sam Fleishman Regional Sports Complex: heated in winter and chilled in summer to about 83 degrees, according to Lee County. 239-321-7553.
  • Tice Community Pool, 4515 Glenwood Ave.: a Lee County pool with free summer hours. In 2026 summer hours began Monday, June 15, noon to 4 p.m. weekdays, according to the county’s pool page.
  • North Fort Myers Community Pool, 5170 Orange Grove Blvd., North Fort Myers: open year round with lifeguards on duty.
