Enrolling a student
The district has moved to fully online enrollment, its Student Enrollment page says:
- New to Lee County or starting kindergarten: gather the registration documents on the district’s list, then enroll online.
- Coming back after a charter, home or public school in Lee County: file a re-enrollment request with proof of address.
- Choose schools: once enrollment is validated, log in to the Focus parent portal and fill out the Choice Application. For the next school year, choice applications open with Student Open Enrollment at the end of January.
In-person appointments are no longer offered. Families who need help can join a first-come walk-in line through Qless; staff provide a Chromebook and troubleshooting but do not enroll students for families. If a ranked school is full, the student goes on a waitlist, and the district notifies families as seats open. The district’s School Enrollment Zones map and its 2026-27 Student Enrollment Plan are on the same page.
