What the show is

The Fort Myers Boat Show bills itself as the largest display of boats and boating products on Florida’s Gulf Coast. It is owned by the Marine Industries Association of Southwest Florida and presented by Go Boating Florida. Boats and marine gear fill the riverfront, Centennial Park and the air-conditioned Caloosa Sound Convention Center, which the organizer lists at 35,000 square feet. The show’s “Be in the Know” seminar series, food trucks and live music are in Centennial Park. The organizer lists the boats and exhibitors on its boats on display and exhibitors pages, and the seminar schedule on its seminars page.

Tickets

  • Adults: $20.
  • Children 15 and under: free with a paid adult.
  • Where to buy: only at the show entrances. The organizer says there are no online tickets, which also means no online booking fees.
  • The organizer’s pages do not list a multiday pass or a military discount. Call 239-656-7083 to ask.

Parking and shuttles

Downtown fills up during the show, so plan where you will leave the car.

  • Garages: the organizer names the Edison Parking Garage at Monroe and Bay streets and the Main Street Garage at Jackson and First streets.
  • Lots: paid grass and asphalt lots around downtown. The show’s interactive map lists them with prices: parking map.
  • Free shuttles run continuously from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day, and to 6 p.m. Sunday, and link the main and east entrances.
  • City parking: the city says on-street parking downtown is free all weekend and after 5 p.m. on weekdays. Its offer of two free hours in the downtown garages ends Oct. 31, before the show. Centennial Park’s free two-hour parking does not apply during special events. Downtown parking questions go to Denison Parking, which runs it for the city: 239-337-3338.

Our getting around Fort Myers page covers downtown parking and LeeTran buses year-round.

Road closures

The city had not published road closures for the 2026 show when we checked on Oct. 14. The show fills the riverfront and Centennial Park, with entrances on Bay Street and Edwards Drive. We will add the closures here when the city posts them; current road work is on our road construction and closures page.
