FDOT is rebuilding the interchange as a diverging diamond, with new ramps, ramp signals and bike and pedestrian paths, and resurfacing Daniels Parkway through the area ($42.8 million, approximately). RoadWatch says:

  • Expect lane closures on I-75 from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. and on Daniels Parkway from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. when needed.
  • Northbound I-75 traffic has shifted toward the median, and the northbound on-ramp uses a temporary ramp. Westbound Daniels Parkway lanes shift south and back north.
  • The speed limit is reduced in the work zone, and pedestrians use the south side of Daniels Parkway.
  • Expected completion: summer 2028.
